Seldomly have I awaited a new Apple
Product as much as I am awaiting the iPad Mini 8.

For me, the iPad is a consumption device and the mini has the best form factor, and it allows for occasional annotations. Perfect.

I really wish there was a budget iPad in this size. Something on par with the tech of the base model iPad, but smaller.

I actually couldn't see it with the 7. The 6 had it AWFUL though.

Still, 120hz is a must.

Despite being deep into Apple environment (Mac, Macbook, Watch), when seeking out a small tablet, the iPad Mini was a complete non-starter. Awkward shape, locked in storage and - of course - price. Even at 'sale' price, easily over $200 more than a sub-10" tablet should be.
Ended up with a Lenovo M9. A practical footprint that slips easily into my shoulder bag or larger jacket pocket, micro-SD expandable storage, capable of running all of the 3rd Party apps I have on my iPhone (and more) - and on its sale price, had for $99.
