Amazon today has a few deals on the Apple Watch Ultra 3, providing $99 discounts on select models. We did track these models at $149 off during Prime Day this year, but those discounts are long gone and Amazon's prices today are still solid second-best options for anyone who missed those sales in June.

Sorry, but after what they did to the AWU1, I don't see another Ultra in my future
No kidding.

Buy this premium priced watch and in 3 years we won't provide software updates anymore .

I'm super sour on my Ultra 1 now. The latest version could be $200 and I wouldn't buy it because all I would think would be about how quickly it would be obsolete.

Let's face it, most of the people (like me) who buy the Ultra watch aren't buying it because they're hiking Death Valley or hanging off the face of El Capitan. Like all those people with Jeeps you see parked at the mall (mall crawlers). It's something you buy because you like it, and you kinda treated yourself to the nicest thing for a change. For lack of a better term, it's a feel good about yourself purchase.

I dunno about all the other AWU1 owners, but I feel like a rube. I certainly don't feel GOOD about it, and It'll be a long time before I would buy another.

Congratulations, Tim. In your quest to boost sales and fleece your customer base, you pissed at least half of them off (UW buyers). Most of them won't come back.

If I'm spending North of $700 on a watch in the future, it won't be for something that will be technically obsolete in 4 years. I'll get a nice Citizen that'll last 15 years and tells excellent time.

Yeah, I'm salty and I want everyone to know about it.
