iPhone Ultra's Very High Price and Features Revealed in New Report

In the U.S., TrendForce estimated that the foldable iPhone will have a starting price of $2,099 to $2,299 and said the highest-end configurations could surpass the $3,000 mark. No matter how exciting the device may be, these prices will restrain demand a bit for sure.

I'm still not sure exactly how exciting this will be for many folks.

Folds have a market, but they've by NO means taken over the smartphone world (not at all).

If someone wants it enough, they'll pay whatever price Apple commands. Most iPhone users won't want it though, so the price is of little relevance.

no way i’m paying that much for the first version of a folding iphone.

will wait for the second generation and hopefully by then tariffs, R&D, the “not a recession” recession & price gouging customers all improve

also i think there’s a 50/50 chance they set up the new CEO to patsy on upcoming blowback from investors

I've been buying foldables at $2k for years now. People will buy the Apple foldable for $2k and up, by the millions. Write this down. :)
