Yet again Apple appears to be overpricing in the UK.

Apple products traditionally have been more expensive in the EU than in the US. I think that was the case already long before Apple had to swallow “billions of DMA compliance costs”.

The example below is for selected base storage iPhone models in Germany. “The original iPhone cost 1.8 times more (x) in GER than in the US.” Note that the x factor has been pretty much at 1.4 since three years before the DMA was implemented. It appears that compliance costs do not contribute to higher Apple product prices in Germany.
