Apple Releases macOS Tahoe 26.7 and macOS Sequoia 15.8

Alongside macOS Golden Gate, Apple today released new versions of macOS Tahoe and macOS Sequoia. ‌macOS Tahoe‌ 26.7 and macOS Sequoia 15.8 are available for users with older Macs or those who don't yet want to update to Golden Gate.

The updates can be downloaded through the Software Update section of the System Settings app. On Macs eligible to install ‌macOS Golden Gate‌, users will see both the ‌macOS Tahoe‌ 26.7 update and the new ‌macOS Golden Gate‌ update.

‌macOS Tahoe‌ 26.7 and macOS Sequoia 15.8 include security fixes, likely the same fixes that are in ‌macOS Golden Gate‌.

Updated to MacOS 27 from Sequoia this morning - aside from the round corners, which are a bit offputting, everything seems pretty OK. First time in possibly over 10 years or more I haven't waited for the .1 release. Definitely grateful the post-install setup let me turn off some of the most offending transparency of Liquid Glass right out of the gate - my now older eyes also need the opacity and higher contrast more then they did 20 years ago when I first joined here on MR. My youngest kiddo (13.5 y/o) runs her iPhone on almost entire transparency and low light, which she claims is "better," LOL.
