Apple Seeds Third Beta of macOS Ventura 13.1 to Developers

Apple today seeded the third beta of an upcoming macOS Ventura 13.1 update to developers for testing purposes, with the beta launching one week after Apple seeded the second macOS Ventura 13.1 beta.

Registered developers can download the beta through the Apple Developer Center and after the appropriate profile is installed, the beta will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Settings.

With macOS Ventura 13.1, Apple has debuted the Freeform app, which is aimed at creative collaboration. It can be used for brainstorming, planning out ideas, jotting down thoughts, sketching, and other creative purposes.

Users can insert drawings, sticky notes, shapes, text boxes, photos, videos, PDFs, links, and other documents, with Freeform serving as a blank canvas. Freeform "boards" can be shared with other people and discussed over FaceTime, with updates from all participants synced to everyone in real-time.

macOS Ventura 13.1 also introduces support for an updated Home app architecture that improves performance for smart home devices, with these features also available in iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2.

If you are a Pro, you dont install the new MacOs until at least X.4 / X.5. Otherwise you will find bugs and compatibility issues. The only Pros that really needs Ventura now are the ones making apps based on Apple Metal 3
Thats a bit far out IMHO (X.4 / X.5). :D
Monterey 12.4 was May 16 2022
Big Sur 11.4 was May 24 2021

If your third party developers are that bad maybe consider ditching them. They should only need a month or two to get their act together. ;)

But does it fix that bizarre WindowServer system crashing bug ('https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254325498') that macOS Ventura introduced?

So far not a bad release, though we've stumbled with some bugs, mostly minor (except Safari, Music & SM, which we could make an entire list but no one cares):

* Multi-monitor setups loose background custom pictures settings on external monitors when disconnected. If you set the background via, right click -> set desktop picture, then open display settings, won't even show the correct background picture in thumbnail. Other times it does show the correct picture but flipped upside down or rotated to the side, when the actual background is centered. 😅
* Weather search input & sidebar icon UI still glitching in full screen.
* Safari same glitching crap with tabs title disappearing, reported since compact mode was introduced 🤦🏼‍♀️, just say you don't care Craig and stop pretending.

I really don't like the trend of add new broken thing, also break old thing, proceed to never fix new or old thing and let them rot
