iPhone 18 Pro pre-orders could begin on Saturday, September 12, at midnight Pacific Time / 3 a.m. Eastern Time. The potential Saturday opening would avoid September 11, similar to Apple's approach in 2015.
The foldable iPhone Duo's schedule is less certain, with some reports of manufacturing challenges potentially delaying a release until the fourth quarter of 2026. Indeed, the latest report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman claims the device will go on sale "as early as October."
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are rumored to feature a smaller Dynamic Island, an A20 Pro chip, a next-generation C2 modem, a simplified Camera Control, and an upgraded main camera with a variable aperture.
The foldable iPhone is expected to feature a 7.8-inch inner display and a 5.5-inch cover display, the A20 chip and C2 modem, a Touch ID power button instead of Face ID, and two rear cameras, with pricing rumored at around $2,000 or more. Apple's book-style foldable could launch as the "iPhone Duo," as suggested by the latest report.
